Roles/Developer

The developer is able to code new functionality as they wish in new modules, fix approved tickets and process approved new functionality as per the Jira issues management tool. Any coding that requires changes to the established core functionality should be discussed with the appropriate Team Leader or for lessor changes, a Core Developer.

The Core Developers and Statistical Engineers will assist with providing direction for the Developer's efforts.

The developer may also act as an agent of the Testing or Design team if necessary, but not usually for their own code, as this would be a conflict.

The Developer may have to direct the lessor roles in the Coding chain where necessary (See Organizational Chart.)
